THE CATCHLANDING CHANGELOG
Getting better,
one release at a time.
See what changed and what is still being built. CatchLanding is in beta; a new version does not mean every park or numbered seat is verified.
OCTOBER 12, 2026 · v0.28.8
A clearer path back.
- Missing addresses now show a useful page with links back to parks and live reporting.
- Public guides have clean search addresses. Preview, account and mapping tools remain outside search indexing.
- Search discovery and stadium accuracy are separate workstreams. Exact seats and physical park details remain under review.
OCTOBER 12, 2026 · v0.28.7
Choose before loading.
- The registration workbench shows the requested park and its official chart while 3D is paused.
- Change parks before loading a model. An unavailable venue keeps 3D disabled instead of creating an empty renderer.
- Seating treatments remain partial; exact ticket positions and current physical geometry still need verification.
OCTOBER 11, 2026 · v0.28.6
Chairs along the Truist infield.
- Partial dark green chair detail across 424 source-bound row segments along the infield sides. Concrete, aisles and landing geometry remain intact.
- The owner workbench can inspect each annotated chair or bench bank separately, alongside Fenway’s counter controls.
- Premium areas, upper decks and renovated outfield spaces remain under review. Visual chairs do not establish numbered ticket seats.
OCTOBER 11, 2026 · v0.28.5
More detail on the Monster.
- Two short rear counters were missed by the seating extractor. They now have separate groups of three stools, with the intervening platform kept clear.
- Monster stools get open slatted backs, narrow legs and footrests. The wide front counter depicts 13 stools based on the retained official virtual view.
- These are visual improvements, not verified ticket positions. The central overlapping surfaces and exact numbered-seat mapping remain under review.
OCTOBER 11, 2026 · v0.28.4
Get closer to the seating.
- Seat-detail shortcuts appear where a model has a reviewed visual treatment. Fenway gets a Green Monster shortcut, with framing that fits phone screens and bounded zoom for inspecting individual chairs.
- Explorer and live reporting request fresh appearance catalogs. If a seating treatment fails verification, the source stadium remains usable and the explorer explains the missing detail.
- The owner workbench inspects all 28 annotated Monster counter spans individually. Switching work modes cancels capture to prevent unintended boundary points. If 3D cannot start, the workbench preserves local drafts and offers a light-view link and explicit retry.
- Two overlapping central surfaces remain unresolved. Cosmetic furniture does not establish actual seat coordinates or a verified ticket register.
OCTOBER 10, 2026 · v0.28.3
Choose your next move.
- Clear Find seats and Mark a ball paths on the homepage, with guidance before opening a park.
- Four additional source-bound Green Monster stool spans; 28 spans now have partial seating treatment.
- Owner workbench supports individual seat-position proposals from retained official chart labels, with local save, evidence, model binding and export.
- Proposals are unverified working data. No numbered physical seat register is published by this release.
OCTOBER 10, 2026 · v0.28.2
More detail on the Monster.
- Partial Green Monster stool treatment across 24 source counter spans, preserving green counters, aisles and landing surfaces.
- Tap a stadium surface to open seat lookup without selecting a home run first.
- Exact ticket identities appear only where a reviewed seat register exists. Numbered 3D seats remain under registration across the league.
OCTOBER 10, 2026 · v0.28.1
A clearer way to get started.
- New Help & FAQ page for exploring parks, reading landing evidence and reporting a ball.
- Public updates page and a consistent version link across site footers.
- Help links in the main visitor flows and clearer account-free browsing guidance.

OCTOBER 10, 2026 · v0.27.8
Cleveland seating gets a visual pass.
Partial lower-bowl chair and left-field backed-bench treatments improve the model’s appearance while preserving its landing surfaces and aisles. Upper seating, renovations and actual ticket seat registration still need review.
Still in progress
Current park geometry and renovations, missing bleachers and chair colors, exact numbered-seat registration, real-device game-day testing and stronger landing evidence coverage. Seat recommendations need verified observations and mapped seats before we can claim catch probabilities.
Detailed physical net models are not complete. You can still report a net hit without guessing a seat location.
