We’re building ways to recognize the fans behind the map. Points currently have no cash value and cannot be redeemed. No prize, winner, eligibility, sponsor or launch date is promised. Any future promotion will have its own published rules.
How to earn Catch Points
- 10 points: your observation agrees with a location confirmed by at least 5 accounts and 80% of usable reports. The group must fit within 6 feet in 3D. Net, dugout and other quick reports can confirm a destination without a point. Video is not required.
- 5 extra: both first impact and a distinct final spot are fan confirmed, and your observation agrees with both. A direct catch or identical point earns no second-location bonus.
- 5 extra: you supplied a video link and exact timestamp that matches the evidence used in review.
Maximum 20 points per ball and 200 per official game date. Each account can earn once per ball. Corrections replace your original report; they do not add another award. Monthly rankings follow the game’s month, not the review date.
Pending, unseen, duplicate, rejected, guest and practice observations earn zero. Fan agreement awards points automatically. Raw submissions, streaks, fast guesses, ticket clicks and referral signups do not. Conflicting reports stay unresolved; confirmation and points recalculate when reports change.
Correcting a report, changed fan agreement, a withdrawn award or a changed source model can remove its credit until checked again. Honest corrections do not create a negative balance. Points are recognition, not a certified seat location or catch probability.

The fans behind the map
Your public ranking is optional. Enable it in Profile & settings. Only your username, verified points, level and verified-ball count appear here. Tied scores and verified-ball totals share a rank. Up to 50 contributors are shown.

Play it straight
Use one account, report what you actually saw and leave unseen locations blank. Copying other fans, invented evidence and multiple accounts do not establish independent observations. Fan agreement is the main confirmation path. Video is optional supporting evidence, not a requirement. Accounts are counted once per ball; multiple accounts do not prove separate people. You can correct a report or report a scoring issue. Public lists refresh within about one minute.
Points are kept in the cloud with your account. Your score and public visibility can be downloaded from the points panel. Removal requests hide public ranking while reviewed. Privacy details.
